We have three locations all centrally located in the downtown areas of Hillcrest, Encinitas and Carlsbad. We are always buying and stocking new inventory daily.

FRESH NEW FINDS DAILY! We are always buying and selling. We sort through pounds of clothing everyday. We do the dirty work so you don't have to, offering you only the cream of the crop! Stop in and shop everything from grandma's attic to movie stars' passé to 'worn once last season and onto the new.'

CASH FOR CLOTHES! We buy EVERYTHING... vintage, designer and new clothing. We are always on the look-out for unique and different, classic, high quality, nostalgic and simply just about everything. Let our experienced buyers take a look.

The Buy Counter is ALWAYS OPEN, but please be mindful to give our employees enough time to get through your items to give them the attention they deserve.


TRADE

NEED A REFRESHER? TRADE FOR TREASURE! We guarantee you will not leave empty handed. We offer store credit for purchased clothing. Use this credit towards a trade purchase instead of receiving cash or do a bit of both. Out with your old and in with the new.

Need an outfit for a costume party? What about a festival? Maybe you just need something new for school or work. We have something for everyone! Whether it is for Lightening in a Bottle, Electric Daisy Carnival, Coachella, Burning Man, Halloween, Spirit Week or the Mustache Bash we guarantee you will find the perfect outfit with us.

OUR POLICIES

You must be over 18 with a valid state issued ID or passport in order to trade or receive cash.

We have a 10% Buy Counter processing fee. Of the remainder we offer 50% store credit or 30% cash. Credit can be kept on file to use at a later time. (Please note: that credit can only be used at the store your items were originally purchased).

GIVING BACK

We give back to the community. We are proud sponsors of the Mustache Bash, an annual event whose proceeds are donated to support finding a cure for cancer.

If your items are not selected to sell in our store, we offer selective donations depending on storage space. All donations go to The Claramonte Mesa Animal Protection League.

A Vintage Clothing Story

The travels of a found fabric piece

  • IN THE BEGINNING

    There was once an intricately woven piece of fabric from India, full of cross-over stitches, mirrors and hundreds of little square patches of fabric from every decade and design. It carried the story of a thousand suns.

  • A NEW HOME

    One day a girl purchased this unusual piece from a vintage clothing market. She decided to make it into a purse. She set out to find matching trim, a strap and closure pieces.

  • METAMORPHOSIS

    She started to sew creating something totally new from what was once most likely a blanket. Now just a remnant asking to be given new life. A found object wanting to become a part of something bigger and better.

  • A PURSE IS BORN

    And from the scrappage came a lovely bohemian bag, complete with wide long strap and bucket boho shape. A multi-colored dream, perfect to complement any outfit, and it was sold at Flashbacks.
