Providing a Safe Environment

Due to the vulnerable population that we serve on a daily basis here at Operation HOPE-Vista, we ask that all volunteers be willing to undergo a routine background check through one of our providers. This process typically takes 2-3 business days, and we ask that our volunteers cover the $15 cost of the background check so that we may direct more funds towards our client services.

If this is something that would cause you a financial hardship or prevent you from volunteering, please let the Volunteer Coordinator know and we can make an exception on the cost if you are willing to instead commit to a minimum of 20 volunteer hours.
