This WebQuest utilizes video media and the flipped classroom model as a way of presenting Shakespeare’s Macbeth in a contemporary light. Students are asked to create a storyboard of the play, dramatize a short skit, and create a spoken word piece, song or poem that they will present to the class. The purpose of this exercise is to modernize the very esoteric language of Shakespeare and make the text more relatable to students today.
